'what is christian re:bush' day 2 - west virginia

on our way to justice, we drove into a small town that had large, old brick buildings looming on either side of the 2 laned road. most of the buildings were deserted storefronts, and except for a few folks lounging on the streets and an old truck parked here or there, the town looked deserted & desolate. but we saw a county clerk's office!!! so we found a park in a small hilly lot squeezed between an old bridge & a brick building. as we parked, the folks who were around, stared. as we tried to address one middle-aged white womon, she hurried back into her vehicle.
as rae went into the clerk's office to pick up voter reg forms (i had on my pink slip bush t-shirt so i thought i'd wait outside in case they had a partisan problem!) a white womon in her 60's was also standing on the side walk a few storefronts down. she was totally against bush, calling him a 'mean, little man'. she was also a christian & agreed to be videoed so as soon as rae appeared w/the forms, we began - again, i'll let the video speak for her but suffice it to say she was an extreme anti-abortionist but just as extreme proponent for ending the war.
