I just can't take it anymore - 27 permits for off-shore drilling?

How is it possible, as we witness ducks flailing webbed feet in a dying attempt to shake off the oil and right themselves, Obama issues 27 new permits for more off-shore drilling?

How is it possible, as I charge out my front door, there is no mob on the street demanding NO MORE OFF SHORE DRILLING?
