Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

RV park...grrrr

I find an RV park about 3 blocks from my loverly park on the beach. I rent a space for tonite, as Alma wants to get her feet wet gradually. Tonite she wants a shower and a toilet nearby. Tomorrow, who knows?

I have promised Alma we can stay at any hotels, hostels, RV parks, wherever, as long as she's willing to pay for it. Her plane is due in at 4:45, the height of rush hour traffic. She is to catch a shuttle to the Holiday Inn, which is about 2 blocks from the RV park.

The RV park is full of u.s. and canadian people who seem to spend most of their time hanging out on each other's patios they've built next to their rv's. There is a tiny pool also but who wants to swim in a oversized bathtub when the ocean is less than 2 blocks away?

I do my laundry and take a shower - my first real shower in 5 weeks! Not to worry, I do bathe, just not shower! It feels really good and I plan to take another one tomorrow morning before we leave.

The plane lands, according to the airport information I find online - I'm pissed the internet connection is very poor and I have to sit right under the office in order to get a good connection. But tomorrow I can use Rico's connection again!
