Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book "But What Can I Do?" This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in

We have arrived!

We make it to D.C. tonite by 10:30pm, find Jenefer’s house where we are to park behind in the alley, and when we knock on the door, we discover that the awesome Phoenix womyn who demonstrated with us in Phoenix are staying there too!

We are thrilled to meet the incredible 81 year old activist womon who has opened her house to all of us (although Kevyn & I are sleeping in the truck, we do need access to the bathroom!)

Everyone encourages us to eat and go to bed but we are too excited! We meander thru the Washington streets , attempting to avoid frequent the “NO TRUCKS”  parts of D.C., and finally arrive at Freedom Plaza.

Kevyn is fading fast – as am I – and we do not stay long but return to our ‘neighborhood’, find a place to park, and crash for the nite!

When we return, Jenefer is looking for us. She shows us the ally where we are to park but it is too small. We end up parking on the street with the promise of a neighborhood parking sticker tomorrow. Hopefully, Kevyn's disabled parking permit will arrive soon too!

Tomorrow will be the beginning. As Kevyn keeps saying, do not be left out of this. It will be so big, if you help to make it so!
